Soundings, a concert by the Samphire Ensemble performed at St. James Concert Hall, Guernsey.
Soundings is a journey around Guernsey’s coastline, capturing the character, atmosphere, and stories of the island through sound, image and live performance. It explores the idea of where one thing becomes another – land and sea, past and present, noise and music. The result is a rich, accessible and evocative portrait of Guernsey that invites audiences to experience the island not only as a place, but as a living soundscape.

“Soundings was a spectacular musical journey capturing the essence of the island merging weather, history, humanity and nature into two hours of exquisite music offering something for classical music novices and aficionados alike, while marking the Samphire Ensemble as a truly premier musical entity” – Tom Girard
